Ravi Teja-starrer Krack Resumes Shoot in Hyderabad

The team of Ravi Teja-starrer Krack, directed by Gopichand Malineni, has resumed shooting in Hyderabad.

Making the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday, Malineni wrote: “We are so happy to resume our shoot with so much of happiness and with great energy around us. We thank u from the heart for the greatest support. All the updates will follow on very soon.”

Malineni shared the film’s poster, in which Ravi Teja is seen holding a gun.

Ravi Teja also took to Twitter to announce that he has resumed shooting. “Shoot resumes today! #Krack,” he wrote and shared the film’s poster along with Malineni.

In a statement to Hindustan Times, the makers of the film had stated that the shoot has resumed in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

According to The Times of IndiaKrack was supposed to release on May 8, but release was stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent lockdown.

In August, there were rumours that the film was headed towards an OTT release, but Malineni denied them on Twitter. “#Krack in theatres only” he tweeted, along with a poster of the film, in which Ravi Teja is seen wearing a police uniform.

Shruti Haasan has been paired opposite Ravi Teja, marking her second project with the actor after the 2013 film Balupu. Shruti is expected to join the sets of Krack once she wraps up shoot for her ongoing film Laabam.

Krack also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar,Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is expected to be seen in the new drama series Addham on steaming platform Aha Video, along with Arjun Chidambaram and Prasanna.

Samuthirakani had worked with Ravi Teja in Shambo Shiva Shambo, the Telugu remake of his Tamil film Naadodigal .
