The makers of the Ravi Teja-starrer, Kick 2, are busy zeroing in on an appropriate date to release their film. Originally slated for release on May 8, the film has so far been postponed thrice. Now, the team is planning to release the film on June 26.
According to sources, the delay in release has put producer Kalyan Ram under lot of pressure as he feels that by releasing the film on June 26, they’d have just two weeks to rake in the moolah as Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali is slated for release on July 10. A week later, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu will hit the screens.
Kick 2 – a sequel to Kick – is directed by Surender Reddy and has music by SS Thaman. It’s said to be the story of Ravi Teja’s son, also played by Ravi himself. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead.
