Producer Boney Kapoor has clarified that reports of his three-film deal with actor Ajith are not true. They will work on an action film, also directed by H Vinoth, after the release of Nerkonda Paarvai.
The producer also said while he would love to work with Ajith on a third Hindi film, the actor has not give his confirmation yet.

Several reports in the last two days speculated that Ajith has signed a three-film deal with the producer, and that he was being paid Rs 100 crore for the three films.
While H Vinoth has revealed in interviews that the second project would be a commercial action film, details about third project were not known. It was speculated that it would be a Hindi film, since Boney Kapoor had said in April that he had the script to three Hindi action films and hoped Ajith would agree to one of them.

A source told Silverscreen that the second film will begin soon after the release of Nerkonda Paarvai, and this project was one of the reasons why the release of NKP was pushed to early August. Details about the rest of the team for the action film have not yet been announced.
Nerkonda Paarvai was first scheduled to release on May 1, on Ajith’s birthday, but the makers said they didn’t want to complete the film in a hurry. Shooting began in February this year and wrapped up in three months. A trailer released to a lot of appreciation in June.

The film is the official remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu-starrer Pink, and stars Ajith and Shraddha Srinath in the lead. Vidya Balan and Kalki Koechlin have guest roles. Rangaraj Pandey, Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Aswin Rao and Sujith Shankar play supporting roles. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and cinematography by Nirav Shah. It is being edited by Gokul Chandran. It is produced by Boney Kapoor as a dedication to his late wife, actress Sridevi.
Two songs from the film – ‘Vaanil Irul‘ and ‘Kaalam‘ are out. The film releases on August 10.
