The official poster of Rustom starring Akshay Kumar was released yesterday amid much fanfare. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, the movie is inspired by the infamous Nanavati case of 1959. Akshay Kumar plays the role of a naval officer who is tried for the murder of his wife’s lover. The movie has Ileana D’cruz and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. Santhosh Thundiyil, best known for his films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Krrish etc., handles the cinematography.

The poster was quickly trending over the internet as #Rustom, with positive tweets. The movie’s trailer will be out on 30 June and the movie will hit the screens on 12 August.
