Actress Sadha will star in a female-centric film to be helmed by Thamizhan director Abdul Majith. Titled Torchlight, the film has a ‘simple narrative’ and hopes to shine a spotlight on the many issues women face.
Majith told Silverscreen, “The movie will deal with day to day issues women face and will have a simple narrative. The problems dealt at workplaces to traveling a public mode of transport, all of these will form the narrative.”

JV, who composed the music for Majith’s previous Paisa, has been roped in to compose the music of this film as well. “The film will go on floors on the 23rd of February,” Majith added.
Majith also denied reports that had him playing a major role in the project.”No, no. I am finalising the rest of the cast.”
Sadha was last seen in Eli, in which she was cast opposite actor Vadivelu.
