Sinam, a Tamil short film starring Sai Dhanshika as a sex worker, won eight awards at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (CICFF), including Best Short Finalist and Best Actress. Directed by Anandmurthy, the film is set in Mumbai.
The short film which is being produced by Nesan Thirunesan under the banner of Nesan Creations London was well-received by the audience at the film festival. The film also stars Bidita Bag of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz fame.

Kollywood music director-tuned-actor G.V Prakash has composed the soundtrack for this short movie, while Saravana Natarajan handles the camera.
Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (CICFF) is an official member of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, in New York, and an IMDb Award Listing Qualifier. The CICFF is a monthly live screening film festival with an annual live screening mega event in Kolkata.
Sai Dhanshika was last seen in the bilingual movie Solo directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
