Actress Saiyami Kher has been reportedly signed on for a cameo in Mani Ratnam’s next. The actress will also be seen in filmmaker Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s next film Mirziya, which is based on the Punjabi folklore Mirza Sahiban.
Tipped to be a revenge drama, Mani Ratnam is making the film in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously, and it will feature actors Nani and Karthi in the lead. While Nithya Menon will play the main female lead, Saiyami, according to a source, will feature in an interesting cameo. The film is slated to go on the floors next year and it will have music by A.R Rahman, a regular collaborator of Mani Ratnam.
