The Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has finally got a release date. The film is set to hit the screens on August 3.
The film marks the second collaboration between Yash Raj Films and filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee, considering their last project was the 2015 film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. This also marks the return of the hit Ishaqzaade pair – Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra – on the big screen after six years.
YRF took to Twitter this morning to announced the release date, while Parineeti and Arjun shared their separate stills from the film.

Arjun plays a 30-year-old Haryanvi cop from Delhi Police’s special unit, while much is not known about Parineeti’s character in the film. Their relationship is also marked by mistrust and suspicion. Although they are often pitted against each other in the story, they can’t do without each other, either.
