Sanjay Dutt, Sooraj Pancholi To Play Father-Son Duo In The Hindi Remake Of Telugu Hit Prasthanam

Sanjay Dutt may have walked out of Karan Johar’s Shiddat, but he has been approached for another film. According to DNA, Sanjay and Sooraj will play father and son in the remake of the 2010 Telugu blockbuster, Prasthanam.

Sai Kumar and Sharvanand played lead roles in the political thriller. Deva Katta, who helmed the original, will mostly direct the remake as well.

Sources say that the senior actor will not only feature in the film but will also bankroll it. When he watched Prasthanam, he loved it. Then, he spoke to the director and decided to make it in Hindi. In fact, Sanju was the one who wanted Sooraj in the film. The duo share a warm relationship.

The movie will go on floors this August. Sanjay has already blocked his dates for it. Sooraj will begin shooting for his next, Time To Dance in London, in April, Isabelle Kaif, sister of Katrina Kaif will be making her debut in it. According to Mumbai Mirror,  a recreated version of Salman Khan’s chartbuster ‘O Oh Jaane Jaana’ from the 1998 film, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya will feature in the film with Salman Khan making a special appearance.
