It is official. Santhanam will be providing comic relief in Lingaa; and the comedian himself confirmed the news on his social media page – “Feeling proud to be in Lingaa,” he had tweeted. While rumours are rife about Vadivelu being roped in as well, we hear he will indeed be on-board “if things go as planned”.
Santhanam had earlier starred with Rajinikanth in Enthiran.
Lingaa is directed by KS Ravikumar and has Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty playing the lead along with the Superstar.
