Responding to reports that he would be acting in Karthik Subbaraj’s film Iraivi, music director Santhosh Narayanan said that he would feature in the movie along with his band for a song, but that ‘he cannot act to save his life’. The song featuring the band will be sung by Santhosh Narayanan himself.
Shooting of Iraivi has been progressing as per schedule. Actress Anjali has joined the sets, and actor SJ Suryah’s birthday was celebrated by the crew recently.
Iraivi stars Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, and Anjali. Actor Karunakaran and actress Kamalinee Mukherjee, of Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu fame, are also a part of the cast. Produced by CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment, the film has on board cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan and editor Vivek Harshan.
