Music director Santhosh Narayanan has been roped in for actor Dhanush’s upcoming movie, Kodi, directed by Durai Sethilkumar of Kaaki Sattai fame.

Earlier, it was reported that Anirudh Ravichander would be composing for Kodi. According to sources, Anirudh, who is embroiled in the ‘Beep Song’ controversy, has not come down to Chennai after his Canada concert. Also, he is now rehearsing for another concert that is to be held in Kuala Lumpur on February 13.
The shooting of Kodi began on Monday. Sources say that currently, the team is in Pollachi shooting some important scenes. Actresses Trisha and Shamlee play the female leads in Kodi, which is jointly produced by Vetri Maaran’s Grassroot Film Company and Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
