According to sources, director Santosh Srinivas will direct the Telugu remake of Ajith’s Vedalam. An official confirmation from the team is expected shortly. Pawan Kalyan is expected to reprise Ajith’s role in the remake. The film will be produced by AM Rathnam, who had bankrolled the original. The project is slated to go on the floors later this year and the pre-production work has already begun.
