The Madras High Court has ordered actor Sarath Kumar to complete shooting his portions for the film Vidiyal before August 31, 2015.
According to The Times of India, the actor had received an amount of Rs 92 lakhs in the year 2009 and neither did he complete the film nor did he return the amount.

Justice Ravi K Chandrababu also said that the actor should not seek any extension and that the producers of the film should be financially prepared if they have a plan to extend the dates for Sarath.
Giriguja Films International Limited lodged the complaint against the actor.
Earlier in 2013, Sarath Kumar was asked to complete the movie by December 31, 2014. But, the actor did not stick by the plan. Even before completing Vidiyal, he worked on Chennaiyil Oru Naal, Pulivaal and Sandamarutham.
Directed by Selvaraj, Vidiyal stars Sarath Kumar and Sneha in the lead roles while Radha Ravi and Shruti Marate play supporting roles.
