Samuthirakani has cast actor Sasikumar as the male lead in his next. According to a TNIE report, the project is a bi-lingual, and will see actor Nani play the male lead role in the Telugu version.

Sasikumar earlier collaborated with Samuthirakani for Poraali in 2011. Together they’ve created movies such as Naadodigal, Subramaniyapuram and Eesan.
At present, Samuthirakani is said to be hard at work on the pre-production of his new film. Following this, he will make an official announcement regarding the cast and crew. Sasikumar is likely to join the team as producer as well.
Samuthirakani’s last as director was Thondan while Sasikumar’s last as actor was Bale Vellaiya Theva.
