Actor-Director Sasikumar’s upcoming action-drama Asuravadham, which was delayed due to the Kollywood strike will now be released on June 29. The film is set to lock horns with Atharvaa’s comedy film Semma Bodha Aagathey, which will also hit screens on the same day.

Apart from Sasikumar, the movie also features Nandita, Vasumitra of Kidaari fame, and other new faces. Directed by debutant director Maruthupandiyan, the film is produced by Seven Screen Studios. Music composed by Govind Menon, adds a raw flavor to the film.
Sasikumar has also wrapped up his next film Naadodigal 2. Directed by Samuthirakani, the film features Bharani, Athulya and others. Naadodigal 2 is expected to release in the second half of 2018.
Meanwhile, Sasikumar has signed another film with SR Prabhakaran, with whom he had earlier teamed up for Sundarapandian.
