Actor Sathyaraj has reportedly been approached to play the villain in Vijay 59. The film is directed by Atlee, who also directed him in Raja Rani. A Deccan Chronicle report suggests that while the actor hasn’t officially confirmed his participation, sources close to the director are confident of having him on board. Oddly, other reports suggest that director Mahendran will play the villain.
