Actor Sathyaraj, who is awaiting the release of his bilingual film Baahubali, has signed a new film that is to be helmed by director Boopathy Pandian, said a Deccan Chronicle report. It is said that the director has crafted a special role for the actor in this movie which is likely to be bankrolled by Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.

This yet-to-be-titled film will have Vimal in the lead and this is the first time the two actors are coming together. Other details of the cast and crew are expected to be out in the coming weeks.

Director Boopathy Pandian’s previous venture was Pattathu Yaanai with Vishal and Aishwarya Arjun in the lead roles.
