Seeman will not direct a film under Lyca Productions, contrary to recent reports. The controversial director rose in support for Lyca’s Kaththi recently and this gave way to rumours that the director’s Pagalavan will be produced by the production house. Putting a stop to this once and for all, Lyca’s head Subhaskaran said,”Seeman has supported us in this issue because he knows that we are being unfairly discriminated against. There is no truth in the rumours that we are going to work a film together”.
He also declared that the student protests against Kaththi were being instigated his business rivals. “It is not against Kaththi the film, AR Murugadoss or Vijay. It is being perpetrated by people who don’t wish me well. I will deal with it myself!”
