Director Sakthivel Perumalsamy’s upcoming film Urumeen will be selectively using motion caption technology to enhance certain parts of the film, according to a Deccan Chronicle report. Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan was the first Tamil movie to make use of this technology. Unlike Urumeen, Kochadaiiyaan had used the technology throughout the movie.
Tipped to be a fantasy thriller, Urumeen’s trailer was earlier denied a censor certificate because of the tagline ‘Revenge is always ultimate’. Starring Bobby Simha and Reshmi Menon, this film also features Kalaiyarasan, of Madras fame. The supporting cast includes Sandra Amy, Kaali Venkat, Manobala, Anupama Kumar, and Sivabalan (Appukutty).
