After releasing the colorful poster of Semma Bodha Aagadha, the makers recently gave us a sneak peek of the movie. The three-minute video, featuring Atharvaa and M.S.Bhaskar, was a laughter riot, with witty lines by Bhaskar.
With the movie set to release next week, the cast and crew of the film gathered to address the press on Thursday.
The film’s female lead, Anaika stepped out in a dark blue knee-length dress, while Atharvaa kept it simple and cool in casuals.
About the title of the film, director Badri said: “It is a complete entertainer and does not promote any intoxication or justify drinking or smoking. The film does not encourage any form of addictive and in fact sends across the message that one must not make any decision when drunk.”
Nothing much was revealed about the film, as the team wanted to shelf the surprise elements for their audience.
The film was initially scheduled to release in May and rumors were that the delay was because of the film’s controversial title. However, clearing out the confusion, actor Atharvaa said: “Since we were helping other films and were concerned about their release we were not able to release our film on time. But we have no regrets for helping them out.”
Ask him his marriage plans and actor Atharvaa said: “Innum kalyana vayasu varala sir” ( he had not yet reached a marriageable age).
The film is tipped to be a drama with dark humor. Atharvaa Murali, Mishti and Anaika Soti play the lead roles while Karunakaran, John Vijay, Manobala, Aadukalam Naren and others will be seen in supporting roles.
The music and the background score are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is produced by Atharvaa’s home banner, Kickass Entertainment.
Going by the trailer, the film looks like an out and out comedy thriller. The story revolves around a young man who gets drunk and thereby invites trouble.
The film will hit screens on June 29.
