Actor Shaam, who has made sporadic appearances on screen, will star in a road thriller titled Kaaviyan in Tamil, and Vaadu Osthaadu in Telugu.
Shaam, who last acted in Mammootty’s The Great Father and the crime thriller Oru Melliya Kodu last year, will play the lead in this film. He has beefed up his body for the role, and will be seen performing high octane stunts.

Directed by Parthasarathy IV, the film also stars Malayalam actresses Sridevi Kumar, Athmiya, and Sathyan. Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Parthasarathy said, “The film has many high-octane action sequences. Shaam did most of the risky stunts himself without a body double. Recently, a thrilling car chase with Stunt Shiva’s action choreography was shot on the busy roads of Las Vegas.”
The film also has several technicians from Hollywood and a few actors on board. The team will reportedly use fancy cars like Rolls Royces and Hummers. The film started rolling in August last year and was shot extensively in the United States.
It is produced by KV Sabaresh of 2M Cinemas, with NS Rajesh handling the cinematography.
