The filming of Shamitabh is almost at an end. The talkie portions of the movie have been completed and only a couple of songs are left to be canned. Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a voice-over artiste in the flick, has already finished shooting and is working on his next project now. Actor Dhanush is also done with filming and has flown back to Chennai to get some time alone with his family. The last couple of months have been very hectic for the actor, with the release and promotions of his Velaiyilla Pattathari and the filming of Shamitabh and Anegan.
Shamitabh has a formidable cast and crew including stalwarts like PC Sreeram and Ilaiyaraaja. The film is scheduled to release on February 6, 2015. This will be Dhanush’s second Bollywood film after the critically-acclaimed Raanjhanaa.
