A Times Of India report hints that director Shankar’s next film is likely to have Rajinikanth in the lead. If rumours are to be believed, the duo will team up for a third time for the project, which is currently in discussion phase.
Lyca, the producers of Kaththi, might bankroll this project.
The report says that Shankar had approached Kamal Haasan to be part of the project as well. However, Kamal turned down the offer for unknown reasons. The report also adds that Shankar now plans to rope in actor Vikram instead.
