Representatives of the LGBT community have asked director Shankar to remove the scenes that undermine transgenders from I. They also added that the protest would continue until Shankar, Santhanam and Vikram apologize.
Meanwhile, the director has sought police protection in wake of the protests staged by the LGBT community on January 19 at Shastri Bhavan, Chennai.
