This evening, director Shankar unveiled the making video of 2.o, starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson. The video shows lavish set work, meticulous shoot plans, grand fight sequences, and an array of robots. The making has Shankar’s trademark style.

The first schedule of the film commenced during December 2015 and the shoot was wrapped up a few months ago. The film involves a lot of CG work and is currently in the post-production phase.
2.0 has been shot in 3D, with Bahubali‘s VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan handling the graphics. Special effects studio Legacy Effects (who worked on Avatar, Iron Man 2 & 3, The Avengers, X-Men:Days of Future Past, and Life of Pi), action director Kenny Bates (who worked on Transformers and Armageddon), John Huges (who worked on Life of Pi), and Walt Jones of Taufilms (who worked on Babe, Golden Compass, and Life of Pi), were reportedly brought on board for the making of this film.
