Sharanya Sasi Is Critically Ill And Requires Financial Help

Malayalam actress Sharanya Sasi has undergone a surgery for brain tumour and is critically ill. She requires financial aid. Her colleague and friend, actress Seema G Nair has put out a call for help.

Seema says in a video that this is the seventh surgery Sharanya underwent, and was a complicated one. “Seven years ago, she was affected by brain tumour. After that, every year during September and October, she would get critical but would fight and come back to life. On June 10, we admitted her to the Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute in Thiruvananthapuram, and surgery was performed the next day,” she adds. “Her family has struggled, and we have all stepped in to help. Every help will matter at this point. I request you to pray for her and support in any way possible.”

The plea has been taken up on the crowdfunding site, where a campaign for Sharanya is on.

Malayalam activist Sooraj Paalakkaran also put out a plea on Facebook. He said the fear is that Sharanya may be paralysed on one side post the surgery. She is the sole earning member of her family, and they are not financially stable. “Please do help her in whatever small way you can,” he said.
