The first schedule of the film 144, starring Shiva, Ashok Selvan, Oviya and Shruti Ramakrishnan is currently going on in Madurai and is expected to go on till the second week of March. Speaking to Silverscreen, Shiva stated that he is shooting ‘combination scenes’ with Ashok Selvan now and major portions of the film will be canned in Madurai.
Directed by Manikandan, 144 is jointly produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and Abi & Abi Pictures. Mundasupatti fame Ramadoss will be seen in a pivotal role in 144 which has composer Sean Roldon handling the music department.
