Actress Shruti Haasan has filed a Police complaint against a man who sent her abusive messages over Twitter. Based on the details in the two-page complaint, the suspect was identified as Dr K.G Guruprasad, a doctor working with the Hassan Institute Of Medical Science in Karnataka. The complaint was filed by Haasan through her agent.
According to Deccan Chronicle, Haasan alleged that the accused sent her abusive messages in which he threatened to kill her. In her petition, Shruti also stated that the accused used filthy language to describe her character.
The Cyber Crime cell is currently investigating the case.
