Vikram Prabhu’s upcoming film Sigaram Thodu will release on September 12. The film is directed by Gaurav of Thoonga Nagaram fame. The film has Monal Gajjar in the lead role and Sathyaraj, Sathish, Kovai Sarala form the supporting cast. A few scenes of Sigaram Thodu have been supposedly shot at the Gangotri temple in Uttarakhand, a first in the Tamil film industry according to its director.
Vikram Prabhu has been trained by police officers at Vandalur Police Academy for his role as a cop in the film. Imman has composed music for Sigaram Thodu, which has been produced by UTV motion pictures. Interestingly Sigaram Thodu releases on the 50th anniversary of the release of his grandfather Sivaji’s film, Puthiya Paravai.
