Simbu’s First Look in Eeswaran With Susienthiran Released

The official first look and motion poster of the upcoming film Eeswaran, directed by Susienthiran and starring Silambarasan and Nidhhi Agerwal, was unveiled on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, the actor shared the poster that features Simbu standing in a field with a snake around his neck. 

On Friday, Simbu announced the first look release along with a glimpse of his character. It showed a rearview shot of Simbu wearing a lungi and carrying a cricket bat.

The film is bankrolled under Madhav Media and D Company banners headed by Balaji Kapa and KV Durai respectively. S Thaman will be composing the music for the film while, Thirunavukarasu will be handling the cinematography.  

Recently, Thaman announced that he is part of the film’s crew and shared a photo of his team. He wrote, “Welcome back !! #STR @SilambarasanTR_ happy to be part of ur journey darling brother !! #STR46 WORKS STARTED TODAY”

Eeswaran is slated to release in 2021 and the team is expecting to wrap up the shoot by this year. It is reported that the shooting is in progress in Dindigul in Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas.

Susienthiran’s previous works include Vennila Kabaddi KuzhuNaan Mahan Alla, and Jeeva. He won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment in 2011 for his film Azhargarsamiyin Kuthirai.

Meanwhile, Simbu has teamed up with Venkat Prabhu for the upcoming political thriller Maanadu. The film stars Kalyani PriyadarshiniSJ SuryahKarunakaran, and Premji Amaren and hit a snag due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Maanadu will also be starring veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathi RajaYuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music.

Simbu was last seen in a lead role in Sundar C’s Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven in 2019. He also acted in Karthik Dial Seytha Yen, a short film released by Gautham Vasudev Menon this year. Simbu is expected to make a cameo appearance in Hansika Motwani’s upcoming flick Maha.
