Singam 3 has been postponed. The film will now release on December 23, instead of December 16. Starring Suriya, Anushka Shetty, and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, the film is the third in the Singam series. Reports suggest that the release date was shifted due to the demonetisation issue. Telugu film Dhruva was also postponed due to the same reason.

Singam 3 follows the life and many glories of Duraisingam. Directed by Hari, the film is an action thriller in which Suriya will teach Indian men and women the importance of love, honesty and honour, as he sees it.
Music is by Harris Jayaraj. True to form, he has composed a song titled ‘WiFi’ for the film.
