Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who recently wrapped up Velaikkaran, directed by Mohan Raja, has now moved on to his next film, a romantic comedy with director Ponram. The actor is currently shooting in Thenkasi for the film, which is produced by 24 AM Studios.

A source from the film’s unit tells Silverscreen, “A major portion of this rural-based script is being canned here in Thenkasi. We will be shooting for a couple more weeks and then head back to Chennai.”
The film also stars Samantha in the lead. The actress took silambam lessons for her role as the village belle. After Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, this is the third collaboration between Ponram and Sivakarthikeyan.
The film is expected to release by the end of this year.
