A remake of the classic Sound of Music, Raja Chinna Roja is the story of a young man who wants to be an actor and comes to the big city, only to be made caretaker for a bunch of young, rich kids. The song is the first in Tamil cinema (perhaps Indian cinema?) to feature animated characters – the animals of the forest – along with live actors, and AVM became the first studio to pioneer this technique. This was inspired by the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
