Sooraj Pancholi is ‘excited’ to begin work on his next with Prabhu Deva. The actor has been cast as the male lead in the Hindi remake of a South Indian film. Pancholi debuted with Hero opposite Athiya Shetty; the film garnered mostly negative reviews and did not do as well as expected at the box office.

T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar has signed on to produce the project. Pre-production work will begin shortly, and an official announcement regarding the rest of the cast and crew will be made soon.
