The makers are planning to commence the shooting in September with a six month schedule. Director Sana Yadireddy stated that Sreesanth agreed to act in the film as soon as he heard the story. The untitled movie is set against the backdrop of cricket, and is also a love story. Sreesanth has said that he is keen to explore other sides of life, in light of the BCCI’s refusal to overturn the ban on his playing cricket.

Sreesanth has already acted in a supporting role as the heroine’s Malayali dancing instructor in the upcoming Hindi film Cabaret, produced by Pooja Bhatt. His film with Yadireddy will mark Sreesanth’s first film as a hero.
