Sri Balaji on Enga Kaattula Mazha

Sri Balaji of Kulla Nari Kootam fame is back with Enga Kaattula Mazha. Starring Mithun, the film revolves around a young man who lives a luxurious life, and his shady past. According to the director, the movie has a lot of comedy involving the hero Mithun, and his friend (played by Appukutty). There is even a talking dog in the film. “We’ve shot a lot of scenes with a Golden Retriever. He’s like a third character in the film and will make wisecracks about the other two guys.” The makers are planning to rope in a celebrity to dub for the dog, similar to what T Rajendar had done (for the cycle) in Vallavanukku Pullum Aayutham.

With music by Sri Vijay and dialogues by C Clyton, Enga Kaattula Mazha is almost done. The director is planning to launch the audio next month and is looking at a September release for the film.
