The role in Lawrence’s next film seems to have been the result of this audition.

Sri Reddy told Silverscreen, “I met Lawrence sir at his Chennai home. He asked me to perform a few steps. He was very appreciative of my skills and offered me a role.”

Reddy said that she has been given an advance amount for the film. “I have donated it towards the rehabilitation of victims of the Titli cyclone. Srikakulam people have suffered very badly, I heard. So I have given my signing amount to them.”

Reddy would not comment on the allegations she made against Lawrence. “Past is past. I don’t prefer talking about that bad period in my life,” she said.

She added that some children being taken care of by Raghava Lawrence prayed for her success and well being when she was at his home. “It really made me feel good. There was so much positivity.”

Thus far, Raghava Lawrence has not confirmed the news of Sri Reddy’s casting.

Sri Reddy rose to fame with sensational allegations against major personalities from the Tamil and Telugu industries. She alleged that Nani, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Srikanth, Raghava Lawrence and director AR Murugadoss asked for sexual favours in exchange for casting her in their films.

Recently, Sri Reddy accused a politician of misconduct.

Earlier this year, she disrobed in front of the head office of MAA in a bid to bring attention to her plight.

She sought help from Movie Artists Association and the Nadigar Sangam in getting justice for her predicament, but did not receive any.
