Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt were last seen together in Gumrah, 25 years ago. The two will likely work together again in an Abhishek Varman film to be produced by Karan Johar.

Mumbai Mirror reports that Abhishek is busy working on a script based on an idea of Karan Johar’s father, the late Yash Johar. The film is said to be based on Partition, and will feature Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt, along with Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha.
Shooting for the as-yet untitled film will begin next year, and Karan Johar and co-producer Sajid Nadiadwala are reportedly happy with the creative decisions and work put in by Abhishek.
Abhishek made his directorial debut in a Karan Johar production – 2 States, based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name.
