Srimanthudu, starring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan, has about two more weeks of shooting left before it is complete. Mahesh Babu had announced on Twitter that the movie would release in cinemas on July 17, but with 2 weeks left to shoot, sources tell Silverscreen, that the movie could get delayed.

However, with Mahesh insisting that the movie be released on schedule, the team is scrambling to shoot the remaining portions in the next couple of weeks and release the audio in late June.
Directed by Koratala Siva – whose earlier films include Mirchi – the film is an action-drama with a social message. Mahesh Babu has co-produced the film with Mythri Movies.
