Sriya Reddy makes a comeback with Andaava Kaanom. The Thimiru actress will be playing a typical village woman in this dark comedy. Directed by Vadivel, a former associate of Suseenthiran, the film’s cast vastly comprises of debutants, except for Sriya. PV Shankar, who wowed critics with his work on Mundasupatti, pans the camera. Rajkumar of Leo Visions produces this project along with J Sathish Kumar. The team has been shooting for the past few days in a village near Theni.
Speaking to a local English daily, the actress said, “the film has a very simple story line. A girl’s anda gets stolen and a fight erupts over it. The story follows the comic situation that arises afterward.”. Shooting will go on till the end of next month, after which post production work will begin.
