Yamadonga is a 2007 Telugu film that is a mix of fantasy, action, and comedy. The film directed by SS Rajamouli stars Junior NTR, Mamta Mohandas, Priyamani and Mohan Babu, in the lead roles.
Khushboo Sundar, Rambha, and Brahmanandam also featured in the star cast. The film was hugely successful the year of its release, and was dubbed in Hindi as Lok Parlok in 2008. The film’s music was composed by MM Keeravani, the story is by KV Vijayendra Prasad, and the cinematography is by KK Senthilkumar.
A lot of the technical crew from this movie also worked in the Baahubali films.
After 12 years the film is all set to be released in Tamil as Vijayan. The Tamil dialogues have been written by ARK RajaRajaa. SS Rajamouli has directed 11 films, and all of his films have found a pan-Indian audience – either as remakes, or through dubbing or being made in all languages.
Vijayan is being produced by Saptha Kanni, from Amman Creations and M Jeyakeerthi and Revathy Megavannan from Shri Muneeswara Movies. Vijayan will release worldwide on 13 December.
