We had earlier reported that Hansika joined the sets of Vaalu for the song Thaarumaaru. Recently, actor STR confirmed that he would be sporting looks of actors like MGR, Rajini and also, Ajith’s popular ‘salt n pepper’ hair style in the song:

Earlier, the team was planning to shoot this song with actresses like Saroja Devi, Kushbu and Simran. However, now it’s known that the song will feature only the lead pair of the film. The shooting of the song is expected to be completed by this weekend. The film is all set to release on July 17, along with Dhanush’s Maari
Directed by Vijay Chander, Vaalu stars STR and Hansika in the lead roles. Actors Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, Brahmanandam, Aadukalam Naren and Misha Ghoshal form the supporting cast. Produced by SS Chakravarthy’s Nic Arts, Vaalu has music composed by Thaman.
