We have seen has seen little of ‘Young superstar’ Silambarasan the past year. After some time off from the silver screen, the actor is back with his new movie ‘Vaalu’ directed by fresher Vijay Chander. The movie is about the life of a precocious Chennai youngster from the railway quarters. From the teaser, it is obvious that Simbhu has got the mannerisms and slang down pat. His real life girlfriend Hansika Motwani plays his love interest onscreen. Given that this is the movie that brought them together, expectations are pretty high among the fans of both the stars. Santhanam plays his usual role of the hero’s wisecracking sidekick, while ‘Aadukalam’ Naren , Raasi, Salim Ghouse and Sriranjini play supporting roles in the movie.
As Simbhu is a keen Ajith fan, the movie is geared to release on the birthday of the ‘Veeram’ actor – May 1st. The soundtrack for the movie, composed by S Thaman, is expected to release soon!
