Stuntmen Ram-Laxman Roped In For ‘Thalapathy 62’

Stunt choreographers Ram-Laxman, best known for their action sequences in Telugu cinema, are now a part of actor Vijay’s next. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 62, the film is directed by AR Murugadoss and has Keerthy Suresh on board.

The twin brothers have more than a 100 films to their credit, having worked in big Telugu projects over the years including Gabbar Singh and Mirchi, Brindavanam. They also have Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu and Seetharama Kalyana in the pipeline. According to a Firstpost report, the film recently wrapped up its first schedule and is currently in Kolkata for the next schedule. A three-week long one, this schedule will include filming of action sequences and ‘high octane car chases’.

Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Thalapathy 62 marks Vijay’s second collaboration with Keerthy Suresh and his third collaboration with Murugadoss. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman. Writer Jeyamohan, who has co-written Rajinikanth’s 2.0, is the dialogue writer, while Girish Gangadharan, known for his work in Angamaly Diaries, has been roped in as the cinematographerThe film is slated for a Deepavali release this year.
