Director Sundar C recently shared an interesting story about Anbe Sivam – his movie with Kamal Haasan that was critically acclaimed but failed to click at the box office. The director apparently did not receive any compensation for his work on the flick and was eventually forced to sell some of his property to settle dues. “Anbe Sivam is and always will be very close to my heart. I had a very bitter experience when the film failed to get the recognition it deserved, but I moved on after a while!” he said.
Sundar C’s upcoming movie, Aranamanai, starring Hansika, has already generated a lot of interest and is expected to be out next month.
