Director-actor Sundar C, who is basking in the success of his recently released Aambala, is all set to play the lead role in the remake of the Malayalam hit Vellimoonga, directed by Jibu Jacob. TOI reported that the team is now finalizing on the cast and crew of the remake. It is said that discussions are on to rope in some other director for the remake. Sundar C will start shooting for this untitled film from next month.
Meanwhile, speculations are rife that the director is planning to do a sequel to Aranmanai 2. However, the official word hasn’t arrived yet.
