Suresh is a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha representing the Bharatiya Janata Party. In the upcoming Kerala Legislative Assembly elections, he will be contesting from Thrissur.

“Since he is also an election candidate, he will not be going to film locations for now. It is not certain how they have planned the campaigning,” Sanju said.

The state Assembly polls in Kerala will take place in a single phase across 140 constituencies. It will be held on April 6, coinciding with Tamil Nadu’s Legislative Assembly elections. The counting of votes is scheduled to take place on May 2.
