Roaring on the success of the third installment of the Singam films, Suriya at Si 3‘s success meet, spoke of a possible fourth Singam in the pipeline. “Hari and I will reunite for Singam 4. It is definitely on the cards. But we might do a film before that. We will do Singam 4, say, after five years,” he said.
The duo have so far collaborated five times, beginning with Aaru (2005), Vel (2007), Singam (2010), Singam 2 (2013), and now Si 3. Their recent film together gathered enough attention owing to the piracy threat by popular piracy site TamilRockers, prompting producer KE Gnanavel Raja to lash out at them in the media.

In the Singam films, Suriya plays Durai Singam, an honest police officer who loathes injustice and crime. Si 3 stars Suriya in his signature handlebar moustache, paired with Anushka Shetty, and Shruti Haasan seen in a crucial role as a journalist. Produced by Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green, shooting for the film began early last year. The movie was shot across Chennai, Vishakapattinam, Madura, and Kaaraikudi.
