Director Suseenthiran’s film Nenjil Thunivirundhal is all set to release this Diwali on October 18. The film will release along with Vijay’s highly anticipated Mersal.
The director took to Twitter to share the poster of the film with the headline – ‘Diwali Release’.

The director also clarified that his film isn’t competing with Mersal. “We are coming along with Mersal this Diwali. I released Pandiya Naadu along with Aarambam in 2013. Ajith sir’s film was a success and our film was a success as well,” he wrote on Twitter.

A little over a week ago, the film’s title was officially launched at Prasad Labs by Nallusamy, the director’s father. The film was initially titled Aram Seidhu Pazhagu.
Starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead, the film also stars Harish Uthaman and Mehreen Pirzada. Said to be a social drama, the film marks Suseenthiran’s 10th as a director. D Imman takes care of the music while Kasi Viswanathan takes care of the editing.
Suseenthiran’s last release was Maaveeran Kittu, which was released last year.
